I've decided to start testing/playing/reviewing game mods in Linux. It's been over 10 years and hundreds of games... I'm starting to run out of games to test in Linux.
I know there are already mod videos for games like:

Half-Life 2
Unreal Tournament 3
Doom 3
Portal
STALKER

So I'm going to start with those huge classic AAA games and test them in Linux.
Sometimes the mods are only developed for Windows versions of the game and only tested in Windows. It will be interesting to see if mods require some hacking/workaround to run them in Linux.

Can you think of any amazing mods that would be great to test in Linux?

Adding a list of HL2 games to the post
I'll be trying each of these and posting what is needed to run them in Linux

Thanks! There is always something old and new in the gaming world!
The best part about mods is they are FREE!

I wonder if we should add a "Mod" category for posts on the front page?
We definitely need a "Heroic Launcher" and a "GOG" category.

Were you able to update the categories on the front page, or do you need me to do that?
