Drawn is a hidden object adventure game made by Big Fish Games. You are looking for Iris a little artist who has been hidden from the darkness. She has a special talent where the characters in her drawings can actually become real and she can enter their worlds.... but so can you! Meet many interesting characters and solve all kinds of puzzles that explore her imaginative worlds.

Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for.

Have you tried installing Adam Wolfe: Flames of Time? I keep getting the error: Graphic Card not supported! My graphic card is Nvidia
Geforce GTX 1050Ti. It requires Direct X9 to be installed during the installation but I installed it already as you suggested, still it doesn't work. If you want to give it a shot there is the 90 mins free demo (it's a very good game) https://www.bigfishgames.com/games/11610/adam-wolfe-flames-of-time/
    Thanks!

Yeah, I'll try the demo too and see if I get the same error.
Sometimes Wine doesn't translate things properly, but the could still run.
  4. booman
No problem. Please let me know if other games work as well. I'm sure it will be hit & miss since many newer games no longer support Windows XP

I got the same error. In fact Direct X tries to install, so there is a chance you could set the virtual drive to Windows 7, but Big Fish Games client might not work properly.
    I'll give it a try

    Got it to work!
I left it set to Windows XP and installed the following Packages:
    • d3dcompiler_43
    • d3dx10
    • d3dx11
    Then it ran perfectly

That's fantastic! Thank you for the wonderful help and enjoy your gaming. Your articles are very important because many people want to switch from Windows to Linus but are worried about loosing their Big Fish Games! Keep it up.

Thanks! I'm happy to help any time.
Were you able to install those packages and run it?

Yes, I installed the demo version (even if I own the full copy) and the demo works fine with your settings. But when I install and try to play the full game I get the error message (Graphic Card not Supported). In the debugger it tells me that it's my Nvidia Card but I don't understand why only for this game...

I've been messing around with Wine so I don't know if that's the reason why I have this problem in any case, I disinstalled and deleted PlayonLinux Virtual Drive (all of them even the ones I created). Made a fresh install but I realized I downloaded version 4.2.11. I don't know if that's the reason, anyway, now I want to reinstall the latest version of PlayonLinux and repeat the steps you taught me because all other games seem to work. I'll keep you updated about my discoveries!

    Yes, I fixed it!
Something odd happened so I'm going to tell you what I did step by step.
    As you said:
    1. Log in to BFG webpage
    2. Download the client of your game in Purchase History
    3. Follow the other steps you suggested (configure Wine, install libraries and create a new Drive)
    4. When the Big Fish Game interactive console opens you get the error but it's not a real error
    5. Hover your mouse on Games for PC and the other options listed on the left above Purchase History, after a while you will see that the internet connection is active (I have ethernet)
    6. Sign in with your username and password
    7. Go to Purchase History and download the game you want
    8. Make sure you do not interrupt the download and do not close POL that at this point is still running.
    9. Once the download is completed, close the Big Fish Interactive Window.
    10. You will see the usual POL error but if you click next, POL will just get stuck in an infinite loop
    11. Close POL.
    12. Open a new instance of POL, you will see that nor your game nor the Big Fish Client are listed there but in reality the drive has been created and the game is there!
    13. Select the option: CONFIGURE
    14. Double click on the chosen driver
    15. Select Make a New Shortcut for this virtual Drive
    16. Select your Game (in my case Adam Wolfe : Flames of Time)
    17. Close the configuration and return to POL main menu
    18. The game is there, click run and it will work perfectly.
    Please note:
I don't understand why but the shortcut on the Desktop doesn't work, I can only run the game by opening POL and running it from there.

The other system was not working for me for this particular game but now it works perfectly. If you want to test this system, go ahead and let me know what you think.

    Have a good day!

I've just discovered that the reason why I couldn't use the desktop shortcut is because I didn't set Open with PlayonLinux!
Now, everything works fine including the shortcut.
  11. booman
Awesome! I know PlayOnLinux can be a pain from time to time, but once you get used to it, you can install just about anything.
The initial problem I was installing the Big Fish client. It would error and crash upon first launch, but you don't want to quick POL because it will stop the installation process and skip the shortcut. The client IS installed and the Virtual Drive is setup appropriately, but without the shortcut, you have to do it manually just like in your post above.
No big deal. There is more than one way to set things up manually.

You can do all of this with Winetricks as well, just not as pretty interface as PlayOnLinux.
Glad you got it working. Feel free to try some other games as well.

My impression is that PlayonLinux interface is more intuitive and user friendly than Winetricks though both are great!
