I am running mint 18.3. It' a fresh install. I have used the the guide to install Diablo 3, but it still won' run. I click on the play button from battlenet. It says launching. Then the play button is visible again. This is all it does.
Thanks I got it fixed. Booman emailed me. Just so everyone knows. Choose 2.21 Staging. That is what fixed mine.
Glad you got it working! Ironically my Diablo III was having all kinds of lag issues yesterday. I think my 10 year old Modem is on its "last legs"
The Blizzard client requires the staging version of wine, on regular Wine it refuses to run. It should be noted that the staging branch of wine has been officially discontinued. However, there has been recent activity on the github page, so hopefully others will continue the active development there.
I've heard that CSMT will be added to stable Wine and there are some new Vulkan tests with Wine as well
