In 5th grade I was learning how a computer actually did things via GUI. We had these old old iMacs that did trash worth of anything but played really wierd games. This one kid always had a like 10 inch laptop with slackware on it. I asked him if it was windows or OSX and he explained to me what linux was and that slackware is what his dad gave him and that he'd been using it since he was a kid blah blah. I have only used slack a few times but it gives me good feelings every time ^^
