A recurring problem deleting my e-mails

I can't delete my AOA e-mails. I use to be able to do it by using "send to trash" or" move to".
Now it's a though my track ball was broken,...it's not. e-mail in my GOL inbox deletes just fine.

i tried all the deletion options,...still no joy.
