This is years old at this point, this was the best place that I could find regarding support for CO.
I've managed to get it running on PlayOnLinux w/Mint 19, but the FPS is absolutely horrible, almost unplayable. And there's tons of gfx glitches such as water not showing up, and having to turn off just about everything. Antialiasing, antistroph, and several, other CO video options because of the insane glitches that they cause.

I'm running an AMD RX 570, and just wondering if there's anything that I can do to get this running better. It's one of the only games that I play, but it's almost unplayable like this. Especially not in end game content where very quick reaction time is needed.

    Thanks in advance!

I wonder if Champions Online is a Direct X 10/11 game at this point?
I've played it before and there were some slowness in populated areas.... but otherwise it was playable.
If it is a Direct X 10/11 games you could try using DXVK to run it.

Just add these overrides in Wine configure:
    • d3d10
    • d3d10_1
    • d3d10core
    • d3d11
    • dxgi
Select one at a time and edit, change to "native (Windows)"
Then download DXVK from here: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/tag/v1.4.4
Extract the tar.gz to your Desktop and copy the DLLs in the 32bit folder.
Then paste them in the Champions Online folder where the executable is.

If its a 64 bit game then copy the 64bit DLLs instead.

It has two modes, 9, and beta for 11. I'll give the DXVK a try! Thanks a lot for the suggestion! :D Appreciated!

No problem. Most of our recent guides include the steps for DXVK, just make sure to use a 64-bit version of Win.
let me know if you have any success
