Has anyone got Perfect World International to work via POL yet. I couldn't get ARC to work properly. I found a download for the game and got the patcher to come up, but I don't think it's working correctly. It has been patching for about 4 hours now! Since it's f2p, then I was hoping some one else has or will try. Thanks.

I used to run Arc when I was playing Neverwinter and Star Trek Online.
I've never tried Perfect World International, but I'm sure it requires Arc like the rest.

Let me know if it finishes the patching process.

It never worked. Perhaps it couldn't download properly.
    ARC setup crashed! Wine complained:

Your errors are probably before the log you posted. Normally all of that is Windows crash logs... what happened before it crashed?

I'll make a note to give ARC a try again.
There is a chance you need to install vcrun2015 manually

Nothing appeared to happen before the crash. when I click on ARC icon it runs for a second then crashes. Apparently It fails during initializing.

    PLO doesn't have vcrun 2015.

I downloaded vcrun 2015 from Microsoft. now running arc setupup gets to login, asks for my password then says connecting then crashes.

I don't think POL devs add any more packages for us. vcrun2015 needed to be added a long time ago.
Here are the winetricks steps for PlayOnLinux:

    Miscellaneous Tab
    Click "Open a Shell"
    Copy/Paste:
    Code:
    Code:
    wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Winetricks/winetricks/master/src/winetricks
    Press Enter

    Copy/Paste
    Code:
    Code:
    chmod +x winetricks
    Press Enter

    Copy/Paste
    Code:
    Code:
    WINEPREFIX=/home/username/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/prefixname ./winetricks -q vcrun2015
    Press Enter

Note: Replace "username" with your login and "prefixname" with the virtual drive name

    Close Shell

ah, because you already installed it from microsoft.
Try removing it or creating a new virtual drive, then run the vcrun2015 commands.

I've had the same problem in the past when a game installs vcrun2015 before I had a chance to do it.

Ok, there is probably some lingering files on the C: drive somewhere.
I suggest a new virtual drive. Actually, try creating a test virtual drive and start over, but make sure to run these commands before installing Arc.

This might not even be the problem, but since you got to the login screen, I think we are getting close
