Pillars of Eternity, an isometric RPG in development by Obsidian Entertainment will be released for Linux. I think that it's likely that any future Obsidian Entertainment games will also get a native Linux version.
I've been waiting for that game to come out since the kickstarter ended Well, I can wait I still want to play some 3DS games myself so...
No, it's real-time combat with the option to pause. From wiki: http://pillarsofeternity.wikia.com/wiki/Pillars_of_Eternity Pillars of Eternity will release in Q4 this year I think. So, soon. And the beta starts 18th of August if I recall it correctly. There is another isometric RPG that will come soon as well. Planescape: Tides of Numenera. However, I'm not so psyched about this because it will have turn-based combat which sucks in my opinion. I think that the studio made a really bad move, because turn-based just alienates fans. You can have real-time with pause like many D&D computer games, and get the almost exact same result as turn-based, only that you can play it as real-time without pausing if you want to.
I'm really looking forward to this game. I am a backer of this and am very excited to try it when it does come out. As for their deal with Paizo, that is good news. Pathfinder is a very good roleplaying game system. I feel confident there could be some pretty awesome games to come out of this.
