Did I luck out or what? Lived where the arguably best music of the Sixties was happening.

Fun song to perform. If not so much for the guitarist.

While I love it that there is a Frank Zappa in the world
making good trouble in music land, I've always had a really hard time finding the music in what he does.

I had a good friend who played tenor sax jazz, who once at my request played stranger on the shore, cold.

Mind you that song is a million miles from his preferred music.I asked him about and he just said
"I heard it few times, but never played it before, kinda fun."
That's the only thing he ever played that made any musical sense to me.

I have no doubt that it has it's rules, matrix and/or structure...I'm equally sure that it lies beyond my kin.

Happily the Japanese love it and pay him a mint, to live in Japan six months a year, but that was 30 years ago.
    I grow old! LOL

There are limits to everything, including how high your shoes can be before you break your pretty little neck.

I'm also not a big jazz fan. This world badly needed a Frank Zappa, imho. We were fortunate that he showed up ready for the job.
