    For some reason I've avoided Ziggy. Maybe I thought "Bob is Bob, accept no substitutes." Well, the kid sounds very much like his father, surprisingly so. So Ziggy, you are OK in my book!

    In a category of their own. Bought their first LP, they advanced light years from way back then. Can't think of any reason why they won't remain in the Great Catalog forever.

    I have no clue as to how I forgot this one.it moved me greatly at first encounter. As I recall, there were just 23 condors left in the entire world. Most were held in captivity

    A war raged between environmentalist as to how to stop this annihilation About half favored captive breeding programs...but Condors weren't breeding in captivity.
    The other half wanted them left i n the wild. Assigning guards to protect them 24/7..

    When one of the last three know nests was raided and two condors killed, The argument ended. A year later by the grace of God two Condor chicks were hatched. They had unlocked the secret to captive breeding. I think it was around 10 years after that we began returning condors to the wilds where they made a stunning recovery.
