    Thank you very much for posting these songs of yesteryear, ThunderRd! As if I bother to listen to anything modren.

    Wow, I've never seen a pic or performance by Bonnie Raitt when she was that young. Certainly a good beginning!

    TOP is one of my tippy top favorites. I lived in the Bay Area early in their career, East Bay Grease, heyell yeah!
    This particular song seems overcrowded yet it's always something.

    It's a great article, thank you ThunderRD! Cahuenga Blvd indeed. I lived in Studio City for maybe a year, but it was long after the "sizzling" Seventies. Wait perhaps not, '77 I believe, yes long after those pivotal times in the music biz.

    The article makes me miss being a musician, but I wasn't in the same city talent-wise, actually, not in the same state. My modicum of talent just h'ain't enough to pursue a professional career. It's always almost everything at times.

    OTOH, "Patches" is a bit too close to Step n fetchit, at least imho.

    Here's one that I love, not to mention that it's timeless. And so freakin' true. Go O'jays! Anthony Jackson on bass, first use of a Phaser on bass, ever. Anthony Jackson is one of the greats in bass.
