    Please, don't take any rejection of any "strictures" of yours that I am unable to respond to as you might wish personally.
    Mr Dylan's guitar is out of tune. He's probably making a statement with that. Mongo find song harder to accept if it's out of tune.

    Fats Domino is the bomb, as we used to say before that horrible day in New York, Washington DC and Pennsylvania. I love the guy and was fortunate enough to see him live once in Seattle. He had the crowd in the palm of his hand after the first note he played.

    Yes, I know this one. It's a great Knopfler tune. It's perhaps funny that her daughters didn't inherit ANY of Emmylou's good looks, at least in the pic I've seen. Poor kids, talk about life being unfair.

    All of my faves are not great songs. Shoot me already.

    Ray Charles is at the very top of the heap in great talent.

    I don't like Willie Nelson. He's been around forever and has sung every song there is. His voice simply irritates me. I won't go into the performance of his on Austin City Limits that pushed my dislike into the permanent and irrevocable zone.
