Just launched a few minutes ago. Doesn’t play yet. wine 1.7.35, Wine prefix = 64 bit and win mode = 8. POL log: The POL log file is too large for this forum. Please see: https://www.playonlinux.com/en/topic-13500.html Thanks.
I noticed some of the same errors from your Overlord II log. There may be a problem with 32-bit libraries. You may want to read up on this gnome-keyring-pkcs11-so library http://askubuntu.com/questions/127848/wine-cant-find-gnome-keyring-pkcs11-so Besides that, I don't see any specific error or missing library. Did you try an older version of Wine yet?
Ok, nevermind, Overlord Fellowship of Evil does not have a 32-bit version of the game. So using a 64-bit virtual drive might not work. I've rarely used them because I've read many times a 64-bit virtual drive is buggy. Daerandin is able to get them working, but he hasn't listed exactly which games work.
In my case works, this game use unity engine and have 32bit executable (other games ask for 64bit but executable is 32bit case killer is dead and others) This is gameplay video from my channel with wine 1.7.53 vanilla However in main scenary works ok but in game have bug (pink) at simple seek could some kind of real time map of scenary And disable GLSL dont fix iisue, enable strictdraworder dont fix issue and using backbuffer neither fix pink issue
I know WoW 64 bit works, because I installed it via POL in a 64 bit wine prefix and it works great ore at least it did last year. I haven't played since then.
Strange that it worked for you with wine 1.7.53 because that's what I tried. Overlord works though. If I can't get it working soon then I will just wait for the Linux version. All Overlord games are currently being ported to Linux!! http://news.softpedia.com/news/sain...ng-ported-by-virtual-programming-494304.shtml The new one is also being ported but that seems to be the case with all new games. Of course I wouldn't call what Virtual gamming does a true Linux port but I guess we take what we get. I mean look when Overlord came out.
